MISSION:
THE PARTNERSHIP FOR HEALTHY YOUTH ADVOCATES FOR EFFECTIVE COLLABORATION WITH SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN NORTHERN COLORADO TO IMPLEMENT THE COLORADO COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH STANDARDS, INCREASE THE HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF YOUTH IN OUR COMMUNITY, AND GIVE EVERY CHILD THE BEST CHANCE FOR A BRIGHT FUTURE.

FORMED:
JANUARY 2013, IN RESPONSE TO COMMUNITY NEED FOR YOUTH RISK BEHAVIOR DATA AND OUR COMMON WORK IN YOUTH HEALTH AND WELLNESS.

GOALS

Goal 1: Coordinate independent community programs that serve school-age youth in health and wellness into a unified effort that supports local school districts in satisfying the Colorado Health Standards.

Goal 2: Work with local school districts to obtain youth risk behavior data in student populations that support programming efforts to reduce youth risk behavior.

Goal 3: Promote policy that supports healthy lifestyle choices among school-age youth.
